Mike Hoberman

Michael J. “Mike” Hoberman is U.S. chief executive officer, where he leads all operations, technology solutions, client engagement, and new business initiatives. His mission is to develop and deploy innovative methods of delivering client value not previously seen in the industry, while driving growth, enhancing the client experience and strengthening Crawford’s brand across U.S. markets. Mike provides leadership and oversight across all U.S. operations, including Loss Adjusting, Crawford TPA: Broadspire and Network Solutions, which encompasses Catastrophe Services and Contractor Connection.

Praised for his ability to create and execute strategies that meet client needs and foster business growth, Hoberman returned to Broadspire from 2021 to 2025. Prior to that, he served as senior vice president of business development and client services at Broadspire from 2012 to 2021. He has been a valued member of the leadership team at Crawford since 2021.  He joined Broadspire’s predecessor organization in 2000, spending six years in executive sales and client services positions and helping develop and launch Broadspire as an independent third-party administrator. 

Hoberman has a long and accomplished history in the industry, having held executive roles in claims, business development and client services. He began as a field representative and claims supervisor handling workers' compensation, liability and property claims at Liberty Mutual before becoming a managing vice president at Reliance National and Kemper Insurance.

Hoberman earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Maryland and holds the CPCU designation from the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters Society.
