Charity Golf Tournament
Through its annual Broadspire Charity Golf Tournament, Crawford has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to nonprofit organizations. Recent recipients include Moving in the Spirit, an Atlanta-based educational youth dance program, and SOS Children's Villages, a foster care neighborhood in Florida serving children who have been removed from their families due to abuse, abandonment or neglect.
In the wake of Hurricane Maria, Crawford teamed up with Safe America Foundation to secure and distribute Cooking Cans — portable, non-electronic cooking devices — helping Puerto Rican families return to normal cooking habits as they waited for utilities to be restored.
Supporting our Crawford family
Through the Crawford Cares, Inc. foundation, our company provides support to Crawford employees affected by catastrophe or an unexpected event or loss. As an example, Crawford provided financial assistance to more than 100 employees affected by the hurricanes that ravaged the U.S., its territories and the neighboring Caribbean islands in 2017. Using these funds, employees were able to offset temporary housing costs, repair damaged homes and replace food spoiled by loss of electricity.

Crawford is a member of the Business Insurance Diversity and Inclusion Institute, an organization dedicated to promoting and advancing diversity and inclusion in every facet of the commercial insurance industry.
In 2018, Crawford launched a global high impact leadership exploration and development program to help women successfully achieve their career growth goals and empower them as leaders. Additionally, Crawford provides flexible working arrangements to support working parents and to help its employees maintain a healthy work-life balance.
Crawford believes in minimizing environmental impact and takes meaningful steps to ensure our processes are efficient and sustainable. We incorporate sustainability criteria into our purchasing policies, from selecting vendors that offer eco-friendly solutions to using fuel-efficient, lower emissions fleet vehicles. We have implemented programs to reduce energy consumption in our data centers and use audio and video conferencing to reduce travel impacts. Every administrative and operational process is carefully reviewed to potentially reduce our carbon footprint.
