Crawford's team of adjusters deploy as India responds to destructive flooding
Kerala, Southern state of India is witnessing its worst flood crisis in a century. The state has witnessed devastation on massive scale. Over 200,000 displaced and more than 300 lives lost. Our thoughts are with all those affected by this tragedy.
Kerala Government has described the crisis -- one of the worst in decades -- as "extremely grave" and rescue operations are underway.
We have started to receive new assignments from insurers although we expect many claims to come after the water recedes from the worst affected areas such as Thrissur, Chengannur, Emakulam and Kuttanad.
