A damaging category 5 cyclone is lashing the area between the islands of Vanuatu and Fiji in the South Pacific Ocean with worst impact predicted on the island of Vanua Levu. Winds in excess of 300km/hr in some areas has ravaged the islands, lifting roofs and causing damage to homes and commercial property.
Crawford has enacted its catastrophe plan and is initiating contact with clients and brokers in the region to better understand the impact of the damage.
