Catastrophe Services ready to respond to client needs in the wake of Gordon
The Crawford Catastrophe Services team will be tracking the progress and intensity of Tropical Storm Gordon throughout the day; it is expected to strengthen as it approaches the coast of Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. Hurricane watches have been issued for much of the central Gulf Coast, and officials in Louisiana have closed 21 floodgates in preparation for potential flooding.
Residences and businesses should prepare for property damage caused by strong winds and flooding. CAT Services has resources on standby in preparation for the storm. In addition to adjusters, Crawford has more than 750 WeGoLook Lookers within 50 miles of New Orleans (see Looker coverage map below), and they are prepared to respond to pre- and post-storm services, including:
- Pre-loss inspections
- Contents inventory
- Business-interruption claim verification
- Stand-alone damage inspections
For claims surges due to weather events, businesses and insurers can reduce costs and time-in-process by leveraging Crawford’s unique claims handling triage service, TruLook, which puts claims in the right hands from the start.
Crawford is committed to its mission of restoring and enhancing lives, businesses and communities. From FNOL to managed repair, our spectrum of services will help your policyholders navigate the path to recovery, every step of the way.
