A magnitude 7.7 earthquake has struck western Mexico on Sept 19th. The quake hit at 1.05pm local time, striking near the town of La Placita de Morelos in the state of Michoacán at a depth of 15km. The earthquake shook Mexico’s central Pacific coast in the anniversary of two devasting temblors, killing at least one person.
