Storm Preparation Overview Training (SPOT)

Virtual

Jul 28, 2023

Overview

In order to be a successful flood adjuster, it is necessary to be prepared prior to the event because it is always better to be prepared, than to have to get prepared. Crawford’s special Storm Preparation Overview Training (SPOT) presentations are designed to assist our adjusters with some beneficial items that they can utilize in the field. The presentation will include discussion regarding tools, equipment, and strategies that can help assist our flood adjusters in the field and after a storm. Being prepared before the storm is one of the essential components of being a successful flood adjuster and the inspection process can present many challenges. The Crawford flood team believes it’s better to stay ready, so you don’t have to get ready.

Our flood adjuster training programs focus on preparing our adjusters to handle all aspects of the flood claims process to certify the best possible claim experience for both the policyholder and the adjuster. This presentation is intended for claims adjusters of all levels of experience from beginner to seasoned vets.

What to Expect

We have received suggestions and recommendations from previous SPOT attendees, our veteran adjusters as well as our VTA and VOT staff members regarding the tools and gear that they use to help make their experience in the field a success. We have compiled this information into a relatively brief presentation to share with our flood adjusters assist help them be more prepared and successful during the claims process.

These presentations are normally held in the late afternoons and usually take under 2 hours followed by a Q&A to discuss any additional items that the audience may wish to discuss and additional suggestions that may wish to pass along. This course will be instructed by a flood adjuster trainer with over 22 years of flood adjusting experience with 5 of those years as an NFIP General Adjuster (GA). These training sessions will also usually include additional Crawford staff members that add their insight and help keep the presentation light natured and interactive with the audience.

This course is presented online and provided at no charge, but you must register to attend because it is an invitation only event. So don’t forget to register for these events and we look forward to having you with us.
