Overview
The Carrier-Specific Fire (Property) Certification* class is open to both new and seasoned adjusters. This training includes a focus on policy and estimatics. At the end of the class, there will be certification exams which will result in a certificate of recognition that qualifies an adjuster to work property claims for this carrier. All study material and exams will be provided through ProctorFree.
Course Requirements for Virtual Classroom
Students of this course should meet the following criteria before attending the virtual class:
- Have a laptop or desktop computer
- High-speed internet connection
- The computer must meet these requirements through ProctorFree.
What to Expect
During the week of the training, you will receive video and study material to review on your own. On each day of the training, you will participate in a guided review through Microsoft Teams (1 pm - 4 pm CST) and take the appropriate exam in the evening. The exams will be available until 11:59 pm CST. The policy portion will be covered on the first day and the estimatics portion will be covered on the second day. Upon successful completion of an exam, you will receive a certificate in that subject. An adjuster must pass both exams, policy and estimatics, to be considered certified and eligible to work carrier property catastrophe claims.
* By registering for this course, you acknowledge that your attendance is voluntary and occurs outside of your regular work hours. This training is not directly related to your job duties, and you should not perform any actual work during the session. Participation in this course does not constitute compensable work time.
