Overview
The Carrier Basic Claim Handling training is intended for aspiring adjusters, those who have not yet had their first deployment, or those who may have been deployed but want to build a more solid foundation with a carrier to grow their career. The 4-day course is designed to lay a solid foundation of property adjusting following the guidelines put forward by the carrier.
What To Expect
This is a classroom based and uses state of the art technology complimented with hands on building materials. The training will include graded exercises with feedback provided throughout the course. Upon satisfactory completion, you will be eligible with Crawford to handle this carrier's claims. This along with the completion of carrier Fire and Auto certifications will place you on a preferred status to deploy with this carrier. *The Carrier Fire and Auto Certification classes are held separately from this class.

- Policy and Coverage review and interpretation
- Remarkable Customer Service Expectations and Training
- Scoping both field and Virtual whether in the field or at a desk.
- Proper file documentation and ECS training
- Intro to Xactimate and sketch
- Wind/Hail Training
- Water Handling
- Handling Claims from the First Contact, Inspection, Investigation to Settlement.
