Overview
The Carrier Claim Handling training is designed to lay a solid foundation for property adjusting following the guidelines put forward by multiple large US carriers.
What To Expect
This will take place in a virtual classroom through Microsoft Teams. The training will include graded exercises with feedback provided throughout the course. Upon satisfactory completion, you will be eligible with Crawford to handle various carrier's claims.
Course Requirements for Virtual Classroom
Students of this course should meet the following criteria before attending the virtual class:
- Laptop or Desktop computer with access to Google Chrome
- External mouse
- High-speed internet connection
- Basic computer skills and understanding of Microsoft Windows navigation
- Knowledge of the adjuster profession and basic understanding of damage identification/building components

- Scoping both field and Virtual whether in the field or at a desk.
- Proper file documentation and ECS training
- Intro to Xactimate and sketch
- Wind/Hail Training
- Water Handling
- Handling Claims from the First Contact, Inspection, Investigation to Settlement
